Architecture Design, Urban Design & Planning, and Landscape Architecture
I am an architect and researcher with broad interests spanning architecture, urban studies, landscape architecture, and emerging digital technologies. My current research focuses on undervalued public open spaces and the cultural production of publicness, examining how everyday spatial practices shape use, avoidance, and perception across different urban contexts. Through comparative fieldwork and interdisciplinary methods, my work investigates how public space is experienced, negotiated, and transformed in contemporary cities.

I've finished my Ph.D. at Istanbul Technical University, Department of Landscape Architecture. My work contributes to the debate concerning the utilization of emerging technologies and practices for upgrading the spatial experiences of contemporary cities.

The experience of living in and traveling to various countries, along with my communication with people from different cultures, has enabled me to gain a better understanding of the world from a close perspective. In America, Europe, and the Middle East; countries that are developing or developed, those that have thriving economies, or those that are experiencing conflicts.
This experience provided me with a deeper understanding of global political, social, and economic issues. In addition to my professional and educational backgrounds, considering these factors has provided me with a more comprehensive view of architecture, urban design, and urban planning. Rather than knowing everything, I seek to know where and how to locate the necessary information when required.
